*A note on persistence: Determined to work on set in 2016, and dangerously close to the end of the year, time was running out for me to book. I kept getting the callback, being put on hold but then the gig would fall through. Then, my father was diagnosed with cancer and I knew I had to see him. Without question, family always comes first but I also had to let go of the idea that working in 2016 would come to fruition.  And then something miraculous and wonderful happened…right after booking my flight to Montreal to visit my father, I found out that I booked an awesome gig right off of a self-tape on The Perfect Soulmate shot in Ottawa! Talk about working out…I spent a month with my dad and worked on a lovely set with great peeps, in a nice role. My gratitude is huge. And, my father’s health is going in the right direction. Here's to 2017…let the blessings continue!
